Peace
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hardwork.
It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
- 'Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.' - John 14:27
Meditation: Peace is a gift that only Jesus can give - 'This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.' - Isaiah 48:17-18
- 'For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord's people.' - 1 Corinthians 14:33
- For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility - Ephesians 2:14
- Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, good will toward men. - Luke 2:14
