Hope

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. - Isaiah 9:2

• Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. - Proverbs 13:12

Meditation: Jesus is our longing fulfilled. Hope placed in anything else will be deferred, will make the heart sick.

To bring up a family? Yes, and then what? To see your children comfortably settled in life? Yes, and then what? To reap extreme old age and peaceful retirement? Yes, and then what? The curtain falls.
