What is it? you tell me? For "Each heart knows its own bitterness..." (Proverbs 14:10)

Why are you depressed?
Those who struggle with depression are those who have lost sight of all hope! But there is still hope, the rest of Psalms 42:5 offers the cure to depression.
"...Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God." - "Bitterly she weeps at night, tears are on her cheeks. Among all her lovers
there is no one to comfort her. All her friends have betrayed her; they have become her enemies."-

Meditation - What are the waves of the sea like? Constant and strong. When we pay attention to God's words instead of others or those of our own heart our well being will be like those waves - constant and strong. -

So I say, “My splendor is gone and all that I had hoped from the Lord .” I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. 'I sought the Lord , and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. ' - Psalms 34:4-8
